Jahangir Shahdadi has actively been working on visual arts (painting, sculpture, and architecture), both in theory and practice, for more than half a century. He began his higher education in the School of Fine Arts at Tehran University, initially majoring in painting, and then architectural engineering, from which he graduated in 1972. Since then, Shahdadi has been contributing to Iran’s contemporary art by participating in more than 40 group and solo exhibitions in and outside the country, plus having his work recognized in Christie’s Auction (Dubai) and Tehran Auction.
In addition to several honorary diplomas for participating in painting biennales and exhibitions, Shahdadi’s achievements also include attaining two 1st place wins in design competitions (painting), four 1st place accolades in sculpturing, and three 1st place awards in architectural competitions.
Besides private collections, his work is currently held in the Academy of Arts Collection, Tehran Municipality Museum of Art, Isfahan Museum of Arts, and Dubai Higher Colleges of Technology.
